Inspired by the Most Infamous Trail in the Catskills
The name Devil’s Path comes from one of the most demanding hikes in the Northeast, a rugged ridgeline route cutting through the northern Catskill Mountains of New York.
Stretching roughly 24 miles across six peaks, the trail climbs relentlessly over Indian Head, Twin, Sugarloaf, Plateau, Hunter and West Kill mountains.
It’s known for steep rock scrambles, punishing ascents and deep notches between peaks that pack nearly 9,000 feet of elevation change into a relatively short distance.
Early settlers supposedly believed the jagged ridgeline looked like something the devil himself carved into the mountains.
Anyone who’s climbed it knows why.
The terrain is rocky. The climbs are relentless. The reward is worth every step.
That same idea inspired this bar: something that starts smooth but quickly reveals depth and character.
