The Scent
It opens mineral and a little briny, with an ozonic snap behind it - the smell of air moving off open water. Cedarwood and vanilla musk sit underneath, grounding the brightness with something warmer. Marine notes and a trace of dune greens ride above it all, keeping the whole thing elevated and clean.
It's a beach scent, but not the coconut-and-sunscreen kind. This is the beach at its height - wind, water, and open sky rather than warm sand.
What's in the Bar
High Dune is built on Bearsville's cold process base - saponified organic olive, coconut, sunflower, sustainable palm, and shea butter oils. The glycerin stays in. A few ingredients go beyond the standard formula.
Dead sea salt - mineral-rich and detoxifying, it draws oil and grit from the pores after a long day outside while helping to condition and clarify skin. A cleaner kind of clean.
Kaolin clay and illite - both draw excess oil and grime out of the pores without drying or stripping the skin. They leave the surface clean and balanced rather than tight.
Vanilla bean powder - ground from real vanilla beans, contributing antioxidant properties alongside genuine scent depth.
Annatto seed - a natural botanical colorant. No synthetic dyes.
The lather is smooth and rich - a gentle cleanse that leaves skin clean without stripping it.
