Considered sacred in some parts of the world, we started with timeless sandalwood - the trees of which retain their fragrance for decades.

Since we were already doing the sacred thing, we tossed in some frankincense and myrrh for a smoldering, woodsy scent that’s surprisingly sophisticated with a hit of spice.

What gives this bar its character.

Rosehip powder

Packed with vitamin C. Accelerates skin repair and keeps it healthy.

Shea Butter

Fatty acids and vitamins. Conditions and holds moisture in.

Coconut oil

Delivers the lather. Lauric acid cleanses without stripping.

Sunflower oil

The highest natural source of vitamin E. Keeps skin strong.

Ingredients: saponified organic oils (olive, coconut, sunflower, sustainable palm, shea butter), rosehip powder, natural fragrance.

Why cold process matters.

Most commercial “soaps” are detergent bricks packed with synthetics - built to foam big and cost little.

Cold-process is a traditional handcrafted method that retains glycerin, a valuable natural moisturizer.

Real soap doesn't leave skin tight or stripped - and shouldn’t need a lotion to fix what it broke.

    Rosehips?

    I love the scent but maybe almost too much rosehips for me. I love the deodorant version a lot.. but I don’t know if I can tell or not but I do think I enjoy how my skin feels. Thanks Bearsville :)
