The good stuff.

What gives this bar its character.

Heavy pumice

Breaks through buildup and resurfaces skin from the ground up.

Avocado oil

Dense in fatty acids. Penetrates deep and keeps skin from drying out.

Bentonite clay

Volcanic ash clay. Pulls oil, dirt, and toxins out of pores.

Shea Butter

Fatty acids and vitamins. Conditions and holds moisture in.

Ingredients: saponified organic oils (olive, coconut, sunflower, sustainable palm, avocado, shea butter), pumice, fragrance, bentonite clay, sodium chloride, ultramarines, iron oxide

Why cold process matters.

Most commercial “soaps” are detergent bricks packed with synthetics - built to foam big and cost little.

Cold-process is a traditional handcrafted method that retains glycerin, a valuable natural moisturizer.

Real soap doesn't leave skin tight or stripped - and shouldn’t need a lotion to fix what it broke.

    Coastal Scrub

    I’ve tried and liked many different Bearsville soaps over the last few years but have to say this one is my favorite (so far). I not only get compliments from my wife on how good I smell after a shower, but she’s also noticed how soft and smooth my skin feels from using it.

    Awesome soap - best out there!

    Great smell, excellent lather and quality ingredients. Tried a bunch of the other "natural" soaps out there and Bearsville is the best.

    Bearsville Soaps are the BOMB !!!

    I have purchased numerous bars of different scents and textures from Bearsville. Excellent quality soap that can be described as "Goldilocks" or just right. I have a monthly standing order from their Coastal Scrub which exfoliates without drying my skin. Did I mention it smells amazing?
